What is the Generic Curriculum?
HEIW have launched their Generic Curriculum, the learning offers a range of training and courses for junior doctors in training in Wales.
The Generic Curriculum aims to provide access to personal and professional development to support and enhance good medical practice at various stages of the Training Programme. The topics have been mapped to the domains of the Generic professional capabilities’ framework from the GMC in line with your curriculum requirements.
How can I find out more?
Details regarding courses will be sent to all eligible trainees directly from HEIW and will be available on our website. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and we will manage a waiting list to ensure we maximise the opportunities available for all. We have a maximum number of 30 places for each course. Information about additional modules will be released as soon as arrangements have been finalised and dates set.
