The results of the 2024–2025 GMC National Training Survey have confirmed the strong reputation for education and trainee support at Grange University Hospital (GUH) in Cwmbran.
In the most recent survey, GUH achieved a score of 98.5% for overall satisfaction among Emergency Medicine trainees. This result placed the hospital as the highest-ranking site in the United Kingdom for satisfaction within this specialty.
These findings reflect the consistent focus on clinical supervision and the supportive learning environment provided by the Emergency Medicine department. The School would like to recognise the efforts of the faculty and clinical staff at the Grange in maintaining these high standards of postgraduate medical education.
